Incredible abuse in Bavaria: A 19-year-old was dragged into the bushes by a man at an S-Bahn station near Munich and abused for hours. Witnesses heard cries for help and chased the suspected perpetrator.
A 25-year-old is strongly suspected of attacking the young woman on Wednesday evening after she got off the S-Bahn in Hallbergmoos.
Only after more than three and a half hours did attentive passers-by hear the woman’s cries for help, according to the police.
Witnesses made arrest possible
The perpetrator then fled, but the witnesses chased him – causing police officers to arrest the man near the crime scene a few minutes later. The young woman received medical attention and was taken to a hospital.
The suspect is now in custody, police said. An investigation into rape allegations is now underway. According to the police, this concerns German nationality.
