A heavy thunderstorm broke out over Deutschfeistritz in Styria on Friday evening. The fire brigade had to make improvised repairs to several roofs.
The volunteer fire brigade from Friesach-Wörth went to Deutschfeistritz around 8.30 pm. Shortly before that, severe storms had swept across the region, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.

Several roofs were knocked off by hail and storms. The fire brigade deployed large tarpaulins to prevent rainwater from penetrating further into the affected homes.
The fire brigade had already prepared for severe weather. They had just returned from filling sandbags just before their deployment in Deutschfeistritz.
