Investigations are already underway after the body of a woman was found in the basement of a residential building in Bad Vöslau (Baden district) on Wednesday afternoon.
The police assume a serious death as a result of the discovery situation, spokesman Raimund Schwaigerlehner confirmed on Thursday.
However, there is currently “no concrete evidence of external influence,” Schwaigerlehner explains. The Wiener Neustadt public prosecutor’s office has ordered an autopsy.
The autopsy results are awaited
The 46-year-old was found in a basement on Wednesday. The Lower Austrian State Police took over the investigation. Autopsy results are expected to be available in the coming days.
