A man has been arrested in Colombia for allegedly kidnapping and raping a little girl for 12 years. He also made video footage of his actions.
The man had worked as a school bus driver in the city of Medellín. Twelve years ago he allegedly kidnapped and imprisoned a seven-year-old girl. Over the years, he repeatedly raped the girl and made video footage of it, the Medellín Public Prosecutor’s Office said on Thursday.
The man psychologically manipulated his victim and convinced him that the rapes were “normal”. He also changed the minor’s name, isolated her from the outside world and did not let her go to school.
Bus driver denies allegations
When she was 16, the Colombian girl called the man an “aggressor” and was then locked up in a house, it was said. She managed to escape in February. The perpetrator was arrested on November 22. He is not only accused of kidnapping and raping a minor under the age of 14, but also of pornography.
The bus driver is in custody and denies the charges.
