“Kron”: The new piece ‘We Have Failed’ is dedicated to the shift to the right in the political landscape – how have you experienced this development?
Martin Gruber: No one needs to pretend that this shift to the right was a surprise. However, during this massage he is quite violent. This is not only the case in Austria, but also internationally. The day after the US election, the New York Times reported that this victory was not just for the old men, but also for the young men who saw their skin floating away. Many people recognize themselves in the leader, who does absolutely nothing for his voters, but they still believe in him.
