Serious accident Monday on the B179 Fernpassstraße in Tyrol: In the Lermoos tunnel, a German (26) skidded her car, after which it crashed into the tunnel wall. The driver and her passenger had to be taken to hospital with injuries.
The accident happened around 1:30 p.m. The 26-year-old German was driving her car on the B179 from Nassereith towards Reutte when she went too far to the right in the Lermoos tunnel and therefore hit the boundary stones.

After initial treatment at the scene of the accident, the two were taken by ambulance to the Reutte district hospital.
