Manhunt in Innsbruck – Tyrolean (41) threatened with knife and robbed

A 41-year-old man was attacked by an armed robber early Sunday morning in Innsbruck. The local was threatened with a knife by the stranger and robbed us. So far there is no trace of the perpetrator. A manhunt is underway.

The robbery took place shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Innsbruck’s Universitätsstraße. “The 41-year-old Austrian was threatened with a knife by the unknown perpetrators. He was also asked to hand over his mobile phone and his glasses,” said the detectives.

Video surveillance is being evaluated
The assailant then fled unnoticed. A search has so far been unsuccessful. The recordings from the video surveillance systems there are now being evaluated. The victim suffered damage of more than 1000 euros.
