Nearly 8,000 ecstasy pills in a boiler: In Paraguay, investigators seized a package from Germany containing the drug. The total value is approximately 114,500 euros.
The pills were found during a routine check at the airport of the capital Asunción, the National Anti-Drug Secretariat (Senad) said.
Drug sniffer dog responded
A drug sniffer dog and an x-ray examiner responded to the package, which was identified as a water heater. Inside the water heating device was the synthetic drug in the form of pink pills labeled ‘Red Bull’, as seen in images.
The seized drug, whose value according to Senad is 120,000 dollars (about 114,500 euros), was intended for sale in the tri-border area between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.
