The Scheffau fire brigade, police and rescue service had to respond on Friday afternoon to help a driver who had had an accident on the Lammertalstrasse in Scheffau (Salzburg). Fortunately, the driver was not seriously injured.
The Scheffau fire brigade had to respond to an accident involving a total of 27 people on Friday afternoon. Traffic accident on the B162, Lammertalstrasse at the Wallingwinkl intersection.
For an unknown reason, a driver skidded his car, hit the guardrail and came to a stop lying on the driver’s side in the oncoming lane.
The fire brigade reports: “Fortunately, the slightly injured driver was able to free himself from the vehicle and received first aid from the Red Cross. The Scheffau fire brigade secured the accident scene, set up double fire protection and regulated traffic on the busy Lammertal Straße.” The car was put back on its wheels and removed by a towing company.
