The Committee views the risks to achieving its employment and inflation objectives as approximately balanced. “The economic outlook is uncertain,” said the statement released at the end of their two-day meeting.
The median of Fed governors’ forecasts indicated in another report that two more cuts are expected before 2025. up to 3.9% (equivalent to a range of 3.75% to 4%).
These figures show that the majority of members believe there will be a decline in the coming year, although this does not necessarily mean there will be one.
