A terrible accident occurred in the southern Turkish province of Mugla: a rescue helicopter crashed into a hospital and then crashed. Four people were killed.
In dense fog, the helicopter would take off from the roof of the Mugla Training and Research Hospital to fly to neighboring Antalya province, provincial governor Idris Akbiyik said. However, as images from private Turkish television channel NTV show, the plane immediately went out of control.
The pilot was no longer able to intercept the machine, causing the rotor blades to hit the facade of the Klink. The helicopter then fell like a stone and hit a field in front of the building.
Four passengers were killed: two pilots, a doctor and another person were killed in the tragedy. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation; poor visibility could be the cause of this.
