A family had to survive without heating for more than two weeks. But these days things moved quickly and we can warm up for Christmas. Because: the company finally offered shelter to the people of Grödig.
A family in Grödig was left in the cold for more than two weeks, the “Krone” reported. The heat pump stopped working. The family felt let down by the manufacturer’s technicians and eventually turned to the “Krone”. Now there’s a happy ending, just in time for Christmas! Because this week things suddenly went fast. Julia Holzinger received an offer for a new heat pump on Monday. “The company met us on price,” says the Grödig resident, adding: “It is a very fair offer and we accepted it.”
Delivered on Tuesday and finally installed on Wednesday. The new device was put into use on Thursday and the heat returned to the home. “We are very happy that we succeeded before Christmas,” says the mother of two children.
The Grödiger family is not alone with the problem
Not only the heating was provided by the heat pump, but also the hot water.
The Holzinger family was not alone in their fate. There are always problems with heat pumps, as other readers have reported. And the customer service problem is popping up everywhere. For Mario Vorhauser from Dorfbeuern, things only started moving after the “Krone” report. He fought for weeks to replace his three-year-old pump – eventually succeeding and a new unit was delivered.
