A vehicle carrying a 17-year-old probationary driver’s license holder and three other young passengers was thrown into oncoming traffic. The oncoming car’s car is also just rubbish.
A five-person accident between Germans and Zwettl ended with bruises, abrasions and a broken vertebra. Shortly before midnight on December 26, a probationary driver’s license holder (17) was driving with two boys (17, 16) and a 14-year-old on the L 67 towards Zwettl.
In a bend to the right, his car skidded, probably due to excessive speed, and ended up on the oncoming vehicle, where a 24-year-old was driving his car. The two BMWs collided, the force being so great that the 24-year-old’s car was catapulted into the ditch – badly damaging the passenger side and ripping out the half axle.
The 17-year-old’s car slid 100 meters across the road and also ended up in the ditch. Vehicle parts such as rims, half axles or a door panel were scattered across the road.
