The gunman who killed yesterday in Montenegro at least 10 peopleincluding two children, and left four others in serious conditionhas been found with head injuries in an apparent suicide attempt and He died shortly afterwards in a hospital, the Ministry of the Interior reports.
The attacker, identified as Ako Martinovicopened fire after a dispute in a tavern and committed more murders at three other locations in Bajice, southern Montenegro. The victims include members of his own family, the innkeeper and his children.

After the crime, police launched a major operation to arrest the suspect, who had fled and was armed with a gun. Hours later, officers located the gunman with head injuries after an apparent suicide attempt and he died shortly afterwards at the hospital to which he was transferred.
The Prime Minister, Milojko Spajicannounced that his government has decided to declare three days of national mourning and stated that it will propose a total ban on the possession of weapons by citizens to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
