“Just for fun,” a 15-year-old attacked three former classmates with pepper spray in the Floridsdorf district of Vienna on Thursday. Four other students were also injured.
The boy had previously attended the school, but was kicked out because he threatened a colleague. The other student’s mother even got a restraining order against the 15-year-old. The students at the institution were advised to call the police if the boy was near the school.
The attack took place on Thursday during the lunch break in a restaurant near the school in Floridsdorf. The boy sprayed the three girls, aged 15 and 16, straight in the face. The 15-year-old is said to have had a relationship with one of the students in the past.
Aggressive towards the police
After the attack, the 15-year-old stateless person fled, but was arrested a short time later during an immediate search. The boy was aggressive and insulted the police officers. The officers confiscated pepper spray and pyrotechnic objects from him.
The 15-year-old was released on suspicion of bodily harm, under the Weapons Act, the Pyrotechnics Act, aggressive behavior and outraging decency. He was also not allowed to enter or approach the building.
