New Russian drone strikes caused at least one death and several injuries near the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Friday evening.
Among the injured was a 16-year-old who was taken to hospital with cuts, the acting military governor of the Kyiv region, Mykola Kalashnyk, said on Telegram. The dead man was a truck driver. Several buildings were damaged.
According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the anti-aircraft defenses prevented major damage in the capital itself. Drone debris fell in two parts of the city. There are no injuries. The military administration reported a fire, but initially no major damage.
