After an Arab influencer fired a rocket at an apartment in Berlin on New Year’s Eve, there was great excitement on social networks. However, the 24-year-old does not understand why there are investigations against him. “I’m just a tourist,” he explained. He is happy to leave Germany soon; the country is ‘racist’.
Atallah Younes himself uploaded a video showing the incident. In it you see how he fires a rocket from his hand – the projectile landed in a children’s room in a residential building. After many negative reactions, he deleted the video and posted more clips in which he apologized – including personally to the apartment owner – for the incident.

In an interview with “Zeit” he was surprised that he could have committed a crime with his negligence. When asked about it, he replied, “Oh, ya alman” – essentially, “Man, you Germans.” He can’t understand the research. “What does the police want from me? Do they think I’m a refugee?”

Younes explained that it was his first time in Germany: “I don’t know how a rocket works either.” He just wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve and saw that the Germans liked to shoot fireworks and rockets, so he wanted to do that. at .
