The president’s legal team demanded a few days ago to annul the order, arguing that only the Public Prosecution Service, and not the Anti-Corruption Bureau, can request an arrest for an alleged crime of insurrection, the only one of which is a South Korean president has been accused. not immune.

Last Tuesday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau obtained an order from the same Western District Court in Seoul to temporarily arrest Yoon, who had ignored three subpoenas to testify, and interrogate him, but the Presidential Security Service (PSS) prevented investigators from entering the home on Friday in the South Korean capital after several hours of tense confrontation.
