Arrested at the train station
Through witness interviews, a 22-year-old Romanian from St. Georgen an der Gusen was identified as a suspect. A search was positive and the fugitive was arrested a short time later by the rapid intervention group at Linz main station.
Argument about woman
Previous research shows that an argument about a woman may have been the reason for the stabbing. There is currently no trace of the murder weapon; the suspect has now been transferred to Linz prison. Good news comes from the hospital: the 21-year-old is out of danger.
