The 34-year-old resident rode his e-scooter along Trenkwalderstrasse and Ampfererstrasse towards the city center around 2:20 p.m. While driving through the pedestrian and cycle path underpass in the Bachlechnerstrasse area, he lost his balance and jumped out of the vehicle to avoid falling.
Over the ankle and injured
During this action he rolled over his ankle while running, causing a fracture to his right ankle. After initial treatment, the accident victim was taken to the clinic in Innsbruck by the rescue team. There is no foul play involved.
