A man and a woman were killed in a stabbing attack in an apartment building in Germany on Monday. Another man and another woman were seriously injured, a police spokesman said.
According to the spokesperson, the suspected perpetrator was arrested during police operations. The police were present with a large contingent. The background to the violent crime in Casekow (Uckermark district) in the state of Brandenburg is still unclear.
The arrested suspect and the four victims are all German citizens. After an emergency call around 10 a.m., police found a dead man and woman in an apartment.
