On Saturday evening, a 13-year-old boy from Klagenfurt ended up in hospital after being severely beaten by peers.
On Saturday evening around 8 p.m., several young people – according to the police there were between ten and fifteen young men – gathered after the ice disco in front of the main entrance to the ice rink in Klagenfurt. The group was waiting for a 13-year-old coming off the rink when they suddenly dragged him to a fence between the main entrance and a restaurant.
A gang has attacked young people
The young boy did not know what happened to him: “At least eight young people hit the victim with fists and kicks,” says an officer. It was only when the boy’s 15-year-old brother and a 14-year-old friend rushed to help that the perpetrators fled.
“The victim was injured to an unknown extent and went to the hospital on his own,” it said. The St. Ruprecht police station took over the further investigation into the crime and the perpetrators.
