A dramatic incident, which fortunately had a mild outcome, occurred recently when a cargo ship left the port of the Russian city of Primorsky. As it departed, the ship listed and thousands of tree trunks fell into the sea.
A video (see above) shows how the cargo ship tilted more and more and the loaded logs on board rolled into the harbor basin. Initial investigations show that the tree trunks were poorly secured during loading.
The people on board the ship quickly jumped onto the pier to avoid any possible accidents. The cargo ship was damaged in the incident in Primorsky, 22 kilometers west of Vladivostok, on Thursday.
