Good news from Scotland. A humpback backs that had caught his head in a rope could be freed from his perilous situation.
Dieren rescuers have freed a whale that is trapped in a rope in Scotland. The humpbacks in need were reported on Thursday morning.
Animal exhausted
A photo published by the rescuers shows the whale in his emergency next to a white buoy and with a green rope around the body (see below).
There is a fish farm in the immediate vicinity of the location of the animal.
According to the WWF organization for environmental protection, humpbacks in all polar to tropical seas are common. Accordingly, they become up to 13 meters in size and reach a body weight of approximately 30 tons.
