The smallest ski area in the world is open on Saturday in the Swiss city of St. Gallen. The art project is a number about the nostalgic times at the ironing lift – and an allusion to climate change.
Four artists have converted a house into a mountain station including Airbnb and Souvenir store.
Geöffnet post-ski-bar
A steep slope in the garden of the house only separates the mountain station from the ski lift. In between is the shortest black slope in the world.
On Saturday afternoon, the ski lift celebrated the opening with an action by the novel Signer from the artist. There was no snow, but the après-ski bar was still open, 200 visitors came to the opening.
The smallest ski area in the world started in advance a media layer. Numerous media reported on the project.
