An incredible drama about two shepherd dogs in Aurach am Hongar now leads to a lawsuit at the Constitutional Court Wels: a woman is said to have locked the two animals in a trailer – in a sultry heat. The dogs died painfully.
The incident shook up six months ago by animal lovers throughout the country: during a youth camp of the Association for German Shepherd Dogs (SVö), a Burgenland woman put her car and trailer in the club location – but not in the shade, but in the shadow Burning heat. There were two breeding dogs in the trailer – this became a deadly prison for the two animals.
Public Office Office determined for six months
The owner had driven with children and left the animals. When they arrived at the club building again, the shepherds were dead – painfully suffocated in the heat. After six months of investigation, the public prosecutor has now charged the Wels charges against the owner of the animals.
Public Prosecutor Christoph Weber confirms the “Krone”: “A criminal complaint was collected on January 15.” The accused threatens two years in prison.
