More than ten years ago, the police -crime statistics of the city currently show more than 4,000 acts of violence, namely exactly 29,485 indicated crimes. Nevertheless, the crime figure for violent crimes has not increased – because Vienna has grown much more in the last ten years than the number of crimes in the city. An evaluation of the “Kroon” – divided into crime groups and educational rates – shows where underestimated dangers are lurking.
