Minnesota police have discovered the bodies of three children and their mother in a lake. “We are investigating a murder in this case,” police spokesman Mike Martin said at a news conference on Saturday. The discovery of a male body Friday morning in the nearby town of Maplewood led investigators to the other dead.
Police are still not willing to give details. However, US media reported that the dead man was the father of the children – two boys and a girl. This has not been confirmed by the authorities.
After finding the dead man, the police went looking for the mother and children. According to researchers, the data from the mother’s cell phone led the researchers to the lake. “We are not going into the ongoing investigation or the cause of death here,” the police spokesperson said.
