A more than moving life brought the talented Sugar Baker Georg Maushagen to Carinthia. After enthusiastic about personalities from all over the world with his sweet artworks, the 75-year-old settled in Hermagor a few years ago. The “Kroon” reveals that not only one president has enjoyed his pastry skills.
“When I was young, I never thought of becoming a sugar baker,” Maushagen recalls his childhood in Germany, where he started teaching as a cook at the age of 14. “The passion for this,” said the Carinthian election, “was with us in the family.” Only through the cooking theory, Maushagen discovered his love for the pastry, ie the pastry chef.
