However, the anonymous caller can be investigated via location in mobile phones. For the emergency services, however, it meant a special challenge to get to the man’s heavily secure apartment.
A 57-year-old apparently wanted to rest his apartment in Andorf as a burglar-proof. On Tuesday evening, however, he suddenly had enormous health problems.
The Innviertler chose the Rescue Emergency Call, could only stammer “help, help”, and the connection broke off. However, police officers managed to quickly investigate the location of the anonymous caller using a mobile phone location. It turned out that this was an apartment on the 2nd floor of a building complex next to the parish church.
“We were asked by the police and salvation, but the blocked apartment door had a multiple lock and therefore could not be opened so quickly,” explains FF commander Christoph Schashinger.
Also in the use of telescopic mast stage
At the same time, attempts were made in the courtyard via a telescopic mast stage posted by the Fire Brigade to get to the man in need. “We could see from the outside that he is in bed immovable,” explains Schashinger.
Due to the danger in delay, the front door was finally cut open with a rescue saw. Then the next surprise: three other doors inside were also firmly blocked. “I’ve never experienced anything like that,” said the FF boss.
Unreachable
The 57-year-old was not accessible and did not respond to anything else. Fortunately there was no danger to him. The patient was restored after the first medical care and transported to the Schärding Hospital, from where he was transferred to the Braunau clinic throughout the day.
