Austrian Post AG lifts the shipping costs for letters. The price of the smallest letter size will rise from 0.95 to one euro from May. The delivery on the next working day costs 30 cents for all sizes.
The previous “Eco Letter” rate with a delivery in two to three days will be the standard product.
Fast shipping 20 cents more expensive
Depending on the size of the shipment, the shipping costs increases by five to 15 cents for a standard broadcast, faster shipping is more expensive with ten to 20 cents.
The standard product “letter” can be thrown into the yellow mailbox as before. Extra services such as the faster or registered shipment can be booked at the switch or at a shipping station.
