The French surgeon, accused of the abuse of 299 patients, has known that he has sexually abused his own granddaughter. The parents of the minor girl were in court on Friday and were immediately cared for psychologically.
At the start of the process, the former doctor had largely held all his actions. According to the indictment, Joel Le Scouarnec passed 299 patients, most children. The sexual abuse was done under the pretext of exams or while it was under anesthesia.
The focus is also on your own family
The 74-year-old worked in around twelve different hospitals in the west of France. Some of his managers and colleagues knew that he had previously been convicted of possessing abuse. But his career didn’t bother that.
The focus of the lawsuit recently was the family’s own family, which is characterized by mysterious sexual abuse. The oldest son of the accused said that his grandfather was being abused by his grandfather between the ages of five and nine. This in turn stated that as a young person he was raped by a priest.
Has ex-wife covered her husband?
The ex-wife of the suspect has claimed her ignorance. “There was nothing that would have pointed, nothing and nothing more,” said the 71-year-old. She didn’t even know that Le Scouarnec had already been sentenced to a probationary sentence in 2005 for possession of images with the abuse of the abuse. She had admitted this during the investigation.
The suspect’s brother had previously accused her of covering her husband. She just stayed with him for financial interest. The former surgeon also sexually abused two nieces and the six -year -old daughter of the neighboring family. For this he was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2020.
The neighbor’s case had led to a house search in which diaries were discovered in which the man carefully described how he passed the children – partly in the hospital room or on the operating table. In addition, 300,000 photos and videos were found with abuse representations.
The process is planned for four months. The maximum fine is 20 years in prison.
