The IKEA trading giant mentions LED light chains and an LED lamp for the outdoor space with a non-conforming plug of the Ledljus, Sommarlånke, Stråla and Svartrå product families.
Due to a production error, the plug of some LED lights and an LED lamp does not match the relevant safety standard, which means that there is a risk of an electric shock.
The affected products (see below) can be identified based on the name of the LED program, the date stamp of the LED driver and the name of the plug.
A statement says: “(we) are aware that a certain plug used for the above products does not correspond to the relevant safety standards to limit the penetration of water as a result of a production error. That is why all IKEA LED light chains and an LED lamp for the outdoor space that contain the affected plug are called back. “
Affected products can be returned in every IKEA -furniture store to receive a replacement product or a full refund. A proof of purchase (invoice) is not required.
