In the process of plans for overthrowing in Germany, four leaders were sentenced to a few years. Among other things, they were planned to kidnap Karl Lauterbach (SPD) from a talk show and to eliminate his personal protection officials.
The procedure ends with the judgments, which was started on May 17, 2023. Four men aged 46 and 58 and a 77-year-old woman were on the dock. They would have founded the “United Patriot” terrorist association and have drawn up a company against the federal government. The men and women were convicted between five years and nine months and eight years.
The woman is a former teacher who may have been ‘political thought’ of the group. Even in the process she often had conspiracy theories from the Reich Citizen environment. A fifth suspect received a fine of two years and ten months before the Koblenz Higher Regional Court.
Introduce the explosive attacks, the Constitution of the State
According to the indictment, the “United Patriots” wanted to destroy the power supply with explosives, remove Lauterbach from a talk show and “switch off” his bodyguards (see video above). The entire government must be stopped and replaced by new managers. The aim was to reintroduce the Constitution of the Empire of 1871. An actor would appear on television as a federal president or Chancellor and announce the stopping of the federal government.
In the long process, 38 witnesses said that five experts were heard. These include a specialist in psychiatry and an expert from the Federal Network Agency. The judgments are not yet final.
Further processes will follow
The case has not yet been completed. At the Koblenz Higher Regional Court, a trial against two alleged supporters of the group is running, and the daughter of one of the now guilty men is among them.
