The fire stated on Sunday afternoon at the galvanized company Arrate in Soraraluze has caused important damage, so much that, according to the responsible person, the factory will last months to resume his activity.
The fire started around 5:30 PM in one of the four factory machines, which completely destroy it and the next door. We will have to see how far the damage to the other two machines and in the building itself arrive.
Firefighters worked all afternoon and 20:15 had succeeded in suppressing the fire, although they will still spend a few hours in the place, do cooling.
The company currently has 23 employees.
The factory manager has explained to EITB that it is not possible to resume the activity in the factory “to Christmas”.
