Only a few days after the bloody day in Innsbruck – the “Krone” reported – there is also an attempted murder in Kufstein. On Tuesday at 5:50 pm it is said that a dispute between a 43-year-old stateless and a 20-year-old Somalier in a refugee accommodation has completely got out of hand.
According to the police, the 43-year-old would have threatened his opponent with a kitchen knife with the murder. “Then he carried out a swing movement against the neck of the 20-year-old with the knife,” says Christoph Moser, vice-district police commander of Kufstein.
The Somalier may have shot off the attack with his left hand, but has sustained the thumb a dressed wound. He was treated on an outpatient basis.
Stateless person in custody
The suspect came not far after the attack. He was arrested by officers of the Kufstein Police Inspectorate. “The incident was reported via the State Control Center and the suspect was arrested in the building after a few minutes,” says Moser.
He denies the crime and has since been taken to the Innsbruck prison. Other witnesses and the victim have already been interviewed. Further research into attempted murder.
Second attempt to kill within a few days
Already on Sunday there was a bloody act in an apartment in Innsbruck. It is also said there that a 34-year-old Iranian has attacked a local population with a knife and has brought a cut of 30 centimeters into the cut. The alleged attacker was arrested and brought to the Innsbruck.
