Serious storms met the Italian Tuscany on Friday. Scale -like rainfall broke into large parts of the region. The city council of Prato ordered all companies and companies to close.
This is necessary because there is a risk that the local rivers and streams would step over the banks. Prato is located north of Florence. The authorities have also published heavy weather warnings for Florence, Pistoia and Pisa. In Florence, the AMO River reached a water level of 3.64 meters. The population of the affected regions were asked to be careful.
The Rimaggio River stepped over the banks in heavy rainfall in the Tuscan city of Sesto Fiorentino. All main roads were flooded. The community called on the residents not to leave their houses and go to the top floors of the buildings.

Schools were closed in more than 60 municipalities in Tuscany, and ferry connections with the island of Elba were also suspended for the time being. Some landslides were registered in the province of Lucca, which is why the road to the Apenninberg Abetone was interrupted.
