Perhaps the youngest tattoo artist in the world is only nine years old. Napat Macorn comes from Thailand and conquers the tattoo scene. He learned to tattoo from his father – to get away from his addiction of mobile phones. The boy is now going viral on Tiktok with his motifs.
It all started with the young Thai maneuver. “Even in the shower I looked at the screen until my eyes were swollen and I almost blindly blindly became blind,” says Napat Mitmakorn in a video of the AFP.
Then his father Nattawut Sangtong had an idea: tattooing. “I just wanted to keep him away from his phone because he was addicted to play and had a short attention span,” says the 38-year-old, who also tattooed in his spare time and works in a print store.
The nine -year -old young artist in the video:
From paper on the skin
The father-son Duo first tattooed on paper and synthetic leather before the boy was allowed to put in real skin. Napat Macorn also received tattoo tips from Tiktok. There are his father and he run his own channel on which they post videos from the young tattoo artist. Hundreds of thousands watch the videos of the “Tattoo artist with the milk teeth” – that is the name of the channel.
The young tattoo artist is also known outside the online world. He performed on a tattoo fair in his home country of Thailand. There he tattooed his uncle Naruebet Chonlatachaisit on his thigh. “I’m not worried because I have already seen his work and trust him,” he says.
Father: “He is a normal child”
“I don’t force him to do anything, he is a normal child,” says Father Nattawut Sangtong of the AFP. When in the evening comes home the nine years, he likes to practice one to two hours before he goes to bed. “It works very well. Because it’s not just about tattooing, but also about drawing. It’s like meditation.” And the nine -year -old himself also says: “I love art, so I like to tattoo.”
Currently, Napat Macorn is only immortalized on the skin of family and friends. His father is on it, because if he would tattoo strict, strict hygiene training would be needed. But the nine -year -old already has big plans for his future: “I want to become a tattoo artist and open my own studio”.
