On the internet, the mini area for a residential building in Salzburg once received a belly price. The “most depressing playground” was the less flattering name. Years later it turns out: not much has changed …
A small sand, a lonely rocky horse and a powerbox next to it! On the internet, the MINI area for a residential building in Salzburger Hübnersstrasse once mentioned the “most depressing playground of 2021”. An abuse that the builders would certainly like to do without.
The “Kroon” reported several times about the idiosyncratic building complex. Then the fluctuating horse was first removed, in 2022 a rammed compensation tax even reached the city of Salzburg. So you bought yourself for free to have to build a playground. Because: actually the new building with seven apartments and a business premises should have received it. For such buildings, play areas with a size of at least 45 square meters are actually mandatory – including a sand -kit, slide, swing and seats. But: “The building authority has established that the establishment of a playground is not possible according to the legal requirements at this location,” said the city of Salzburg at that time. A small garden must come from the area.
A new look at Hübnerstrasse shows that the small area is still not a party for the eyes. The powerbox is now lubricated with graffiti, the builders have planted two trees in the sand surface.
However, there is hardly anything to see. A scaffolding is currently in the former “most depressing playground” of all of Salzburg.
