A dramatic dedication to the fire brigade in Saalfelden: A 24-year-old had to be saved from a crashed car on Sunday morning, which had crashed a steep slope.
The driver had lost control of her vehicle on Sunday and fell with her car in the forest, where trees stopped the crash. Her passenger, also 24 years old, could no longer free herself from the car after the accident. To be able to offer them quickly, the troops of the fire brigade with hydraulic rescue equipment were used.
Seriously injured in the hospital
34 Men of the Saalfelden Volunteer Fire Brigade worked under high pressure to restore the wounded with a car bubble. An alkotest with the driver was negative. The seriously injured passenger was taken to the hospital after the rescue.
The day before, the rescue staff had to move to a serious accident: on the B311 a 15-year-old bumped into a 63-year-old driver when he overlooked the oncoming car when he turned around. The teenager was seriously injured and brought to the Salzburg accident Hospital with the rescue helicopter.
