A shocking case shakes the Markgräflerland in southwestern Germany: the police discovered two dead babies in a house. The research is active – much is still unclear.
As the Freiburg’s headquarters announced on Tuesday, the researchers followed on March 6 that there was a babies body in a house in the southern black forest.
As the “photo” reported, the alleged mother, an adolescent between the ages of 18 and 21, should have been granted “that the first baby was her child”. In the further course of the examination, a second dead baby was found during a search query.
Babies apparently have been dead for a long time
The exact cause of death is still unclear. According to SWR: “You assume that the corpses have been there for a long time because of their condition”. Bild also reports that, according to the police, “in both corpses, due to the state of imposing, a hiding place has long been out”.
A DNA analysis for the clear confirmation of motherhood is still being treated. The results of the study were therefore “not yet confirmed in both cases”.
Research against young mother initiated
An investigation was started against the young woman. As “Bild” reports, the police did not want to say “whether it is being investigated against other people”. Further details were also not announced: “To protect the investigation and personality rights of the woman, no further information could be provided at the moment,” the police are quoted.
Similar case in lörrach
The case is reminiscent of a tragedy in the Lörrach district. There a walker discovered a dead baby on a meadow in February. The police searched for the child’s parents for weeks until the minor mother finally reported. The authorities then started an investigation due to a possible murder.
The criminal police of Freiburg continues the investigation in the current case. The clarification of the cause of death and the exact circumstances is still being dealt with.
