In the US state of Alaska, a small plane fell on a frozen lake. A father and two children were saved at the last minute – the wreck was already half in the water.
The three prisoners were missing on Sunday evening. But a first search for them was not successful. A friend of the family then started a call call on Facebook and more people participated in the search on Monday. Finally, a pilot discovered the wreck, but had no reception of mobile phones in the icy expansion.
He therefore contacted a colleague via his radio who received help. The man and his two children were saved after more than twelve hours and taken to a hospital. According to the local broadcaster Ktuu, they did not arrive any serious injuries.
Here you can see a message for the accident.
A spokesperson for the Road Safety Authority said the salvation was remarkable. He did not expect anyone to live more than twelve hours after the crash, one of the pilots said.
