The Refugee House in Villach-Langauen is now closed for about a month. The question remains: what happens to the living and medical containers, which are expensive at the time?
The refugee accommodation in Villach Langauen was opened in September 2016. At that time, around three million euros were invested in the federal government side for the establishment of a total of 94 residential containers. It should serve as a first accommodation for a maximum of 300 people in the refugee crisis. It is quiet for about a month in the container village.
After the murder attack in Villach, the location was closed and the remaining 75 asylum seekers were distributed over Austria in Austria. BBU spokesperson Thomas Fussegger explains what is now happening with the containers to the request of “Krone”.
