The young people of Austria use fewer cigarettes and alcohol, but the consumption of nicotin bags or e-cigarettes has increased considerably. Social media are experienced by a large number of students, a quarter have a low pit berries and only one fifth has used cannabis at least once.

This is demonstrated by the International Espad Survey 2024* with young people from the ninth and tenth school level for Austria. Further findings:
