After a brutal attack in a parking lot in Vienna-Hietzing and the subsequent driver escaped last Friday, the police arrested a 37-year-old suspect in his mother’s apartment. The man was already known.
A case that took place in Hietzing on Thursday afternoon was quickly informed. What happened? A 58-year-old had become aware of an apparently unconscious man (37) in a car in the “Am Rosenberg” parking lot. He offered him his help. Then the 37-year-old started the engine, climbed on the gas and rode the 58-year-old and a committed woman (34). Both were injured.

Instead of stopping and warning the emergency services, he fled with his car. The police were looking for high pressure after the suspect and could investigate the 37-year-old with the help of a security camera of an underground parking space near the crime scene.
Defended himself when arrested
