The figures are alarming: almost half of the Viennese sceners cannot be enough German to follow the lessons. Although the problems in the public schools in Vienna are increasingly giving up, more and more parents are considering teaching their children privately. Which schools do your children follow?
Votes from the Viennese compulsory schools with partially bizarre experiences now regularly report: children play executions in the classroom. A teacher prohibits reading from the Bible when considering other believers. And then a mother who gives her child’s primary school teacher a burqa. In other classes, orderly lessons can no longer be considered when domestic pigs take place in a story – or a rainbow.
Incidents such as these are of course not the norm, but play a crucial role in school selection: a private -pitch place can be chosen independently, in the worst case the selection can be rejected in public schools. It is often too late to register at a private school. Do you take the possible ‘risk’ and do you send your children to public schools?
Which schools do your children follow? Are you satisfied with the range of public schools? Can you imagine that your children teach privately? What are your benefits compared to public schools? We look forward to your comments!
