“Krone” readers are shocked by election posters that appeared in Vienna on Friday. The posters are strongly reminiscent of the fascism of the 1930s and the time of national socialism. What’s behind it.
A blonde woman and a blond man, blue eyes, stoic look, for a sky -blue idyll. “For our homeland” can be read about this in a script that is strongly reminiscent of the Nazi era.
First in Meidling, then also in other districts, these controversial posters appeared on Friday.
If you look closely, you can read in the text below: “Fortress Vienna against traitors who spoil our youth with racism, fear and hatred sermons! List Strache on the district council of Meidling”.
As reported, the strache list is the left Half-Satire party that takes place against the HC Strache team of the ex-Vice Chancellor with the same name. She got the list in Meidling and can be chosen on 27 April on the district council.
In fact, the advertisements of the Straches team, but also FPö advertisements with the “Nazi posters”, in particular glued, explains HC election room manager Dietrich Kops to the “Krone”.
Kops indicates the damage of up to 30,000 euros and will submit a criminal complaint for material damage and incentive. Moreover, a claim for compensation against the strache list is being investigated. “We have to pee all our approved poster, which is a big effort,” says Kops.
What does the List Strache want to achieve with it? Attention, deterrent? Or is someone else behind it? The “Kroon” tried to reach a representative of the party. Until now without success. We will stay informed!
