Domach -violations of two students within just a few days, presumably dedicated by fellow students, shocking Italy. About 2000 people, including many young people, participated in a demonstration on the square in front of the University of La Sapienza in Rome on Wednesday evening to protest against women’s murders. They called for a “cultural revolution”.
The demonstration was organized after two women’s murders shaken the public. In a travel bag in the municipality of Poli, 40 kilometers from Rome, the body of a statistics student (22), who was missing for days, was discovered in an abyss in the forest. The Filipino friend of the young woman was arrested under suspicion. The 23-year-old architecture student confessed the murder and gave the researchers the information that led to the body.
In this article a photo of the 22-year-old killed student and her alleged murderer is shown:
Crime scene apartment of the parents
Allegedly he killed the young woman with a knife in his parents’ apartment with whom he lived in Rome. For the time being it remained unclear whether they were inaugurated. As can be seen from the investigation, the perpetrator would have stabbed his victim several times before he put the body into a large travel bag and threw in the abyss. It is still unclear whether he acted alone. After the murder, the man would have continued to use the woman’s mobile phone, answered messages and contributed to social networks under her identity.
In Sicily, a young man was arrested on Monday who was suspected of stabbing a 22-year-old colleague in Messina in the Open Street. The researchers suspect that the perpetrator had feelings for the victim who did not return. It is said that he has printed the woman for more than two years. Just like the victim, he visited the faculty of biomedical laboratory techniques at the University of Messina.

“No individual cases”
There are “no isolated cases, unaccompanied and extraordinary events, but the extreme image of a system that is sick,” emphasized the activists of the women’s associations, which called protest at the Roman University of La Sapienza. The rector of Sapienza University, Antonella Polameni, organized a commemoration for the two students. The Roman newspaper “Repubblica” described her as “sisters in a cruel death”.
Ladies murders continue to get the headlines in Italy. 17 Female female women have been committed since the beginning of 2025. This corresponds to a decrease of 35 percent compared to the first three months of 2024 when 26 murders were registered. The number of murders in general has also decreased since the beginning of 2025, from 80 to 57 (minus 29 percent), a report from the Ministry of the Interior in Rome.
