14 More Missing – Mediterranean: NGO Ship saved 215 migrants

The living support of the rescue ship operated by the Italian aid organization, saved 215 shipwrecked migrants in three missions in the Central Mediterranean Sea. The three separate rescue campaigns took place in Libyan waters, as Emergency announced on Saturday. According to the reports of some survivors, at least 14 people are missing.

The first boat was reported on Saturday at dawn by the Emergency Call Center alarm telephone.

93 migrants sat on an inflatable boat that lost air. The migrants reported that they were leaving the Libyan coast on Friday. According to the survivors, this boat was also the missing person who had fallen overboard before the emergency services arrived.

Three missions in Libyan waters
During the mission the rescuers saw another boat in difficulties, the 78 migrants on board were all saved and taken on board the livelihood. The third assignment, which was also reported by alarm phone, met a rubber boat with 44 people on board.

Adria-Have Ancona assigned
The 215 Scheepswrekt, including 53 women, 83 traveling minors and nine, came from Eritrea, Somalia, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mali and Benin. The Italian authorities have assigned the Ancona living support on the northern Adriatic Sea as a landing gate.
