The Pongauer had to be brought to Salzburg Accident Hospital with the emergency helicopter. It was initially not possible to determine whether alcohol was involved because of the injuries.
A test was negative with the German, who was transported by the Red Cross to the Schwarzach clinic. The investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
